AFH’s subsidiary, Liquid Automation Systems (LAS) is pleased to announce their first major mining installation for a Fuel Management System in Australia. The system allows the user to focus control on dispensing of fuel within their facility into service and operating vehicles in order to provide security and tracking of their fuel usage. The information is additionally used to apply for Diesel fuel rebates from the Australian government and is provided with a full audit trail.

The system also removes human error and intervention in the fuel monitoring system to allow tank levels, driver and vehicle identification and associated reporting.

The system uses LAS’ in house developed Opti-MIM software programme which stores all of the necessary data as well as produces reports relating to the fuel system management. The software also provides a user friendly interface for the plant personnel.
